JP-MIRAI celebrated its 5th anniversary since its establishment in November 2020. During this period, the number of members has grown to more than 880 thanks to the active participation of our members, and our activities have also expanded dramatically thanks to the cooperation of a great many people inside and outside Japan, including related ministries and international organizations. In addition, the secretariat, which supports the platform, will be organized as a general incorporated association from 2022, and in addition to the cooperation of private companies, the Toyota Foundation and the Japan Private Activities Promotion Organization (J-PAPO) have provided us with grants to develop our business.
In commemoration of the 5th anniversary of our founding, we would like to review with our members the progress we have made over the past five years, and to discuss with our members, rights holders, foreign workers, and experts the issues that need to be addressed in order to promote appropriate acceptance of the rapidly increasing number of foreign workers. We would like to discuss our efforts with our members, rights holder foreign workers, and experts.
Awards will also be presented to those who have supported JP-MIRAI’s activities to date, and a reception will be held after the closing session. This will be a rare opportunity for everyone to meet face to face, so please feel free to attend.
